RTE Maharashtra Admission 2024-25 Online Application status
Starting March 1st, the State Directorate of Primary Education is accepting online applications for admissions under the 25% reserved quota of the Right to Education (RTE) Act. The deadline for applications is March 17th. This year, the department has made the Aadhar card a requirement for applications, and candidates without one must apply within 90 days after admission. To accommodate young beneficiaries, parents are given 90 days after admission to submit the required Aadhar card. Failure to do so may result in the rescinding of the seat. The Union government’s new mandate for Aadhar cards caused a delay in the second phase of admissions after school registrations.
In response, we proposed and received approval for a 90-day window for parents to obtain the necessary documentation. After March 17th, the department will release the schedule for admission confirmation and lottery information.
