KVS Admission Online 2024-25
Admission to Class 1 requires children to be at least six years old by March 31, 2024. The deadline for applications was April 1, 2018. Registration for grades 2 and above began today and ended on April 10. Additionally, registration for Class 11 will start ten days after the results of the Class 10 board exams are announced. Eligibility Criteria for KVS Admission
Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) admit students from classes 1 to 12. Admission for class 1 is done online through a lottery system. For classes 6 and 11, there’s an entrance exam. In Delhi, an entrance exam was also held for class 9 last year. Registration for class 1 admission in KV has begun online from April 1, 2024. Age requirements are important for admission:
- Class 1: Children should be 5 to 7 years old by March 31, 2024.
- Class 2 to 8: No entrance test, but age gradually increases.
- Class 9: Entrance exam required, and students must pass 8th class.
- Class 10: No direct admission.
- Class 11: Admission based on Class 10 board exam marks, with different streams available.
- Class 12: Usually no direct applications, except for KV students relocating due to parental transfers.
